Job Title

Grounds Maintenance Worker- March to September (Fixed Contract)

Job description

As our Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining our grounds to the highest standards, creating a stimulating environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents. From tending to flowerbeds and shrubs to ensuring our outdoor areas are safe and inviting, your work will contribute to making our Estate a welcoming and vibrant place for residents to enjoy.

What our Gardener does:

  • Maintain our grounds to the highest standards, ensuring they are safe, tidy, and visually appealing.
  • Maintaining Lawns, tending to flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees etc.
  • Care for equipment and structures such as fencing, ensuring they are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Clear snow and ice in the winter to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
  • Use garden treatment chemicals in line with COSHH regulations, prioritising the health and safety of all.
  • Adapt your work schedule to accommodate the needs of our residents, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive and inclusive environment that supports the well-being of our residents.

Salary £12.50ph from April 2025
Hours 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am- 4pm with 1/2 hour paid lunch break
